"Never forget to show up inside the music." - Jane Pesci-Townsend
"Anything you do, let it come from you. Then it will be true. Give us more to see..." - Steven Sondheim, Sunday in the Park with George
let me introduce myself...
I am newly married and I live New Jersey with my husband, Christian, and our gigantic lover-of-a-dog, Guinness! I originally hail from Pennsylvania, outside of Philadelphia and am connected to the arts in both Philly and NJ.
I recall being whisked away by and wrapped up in magical, adventurous, romantic, funny and emotional stories on the live stage as a child. Something pulses through my veins when I feel music and connect with a story. As a result, all I've ever wanted to do is provide that same experience to others and be able to say,"Look I made a hat...where there never was a hat."
As an artist, I am continually inspired by art and social change, the educational value of the arts and the healing power of the arts.

In September of 2014, I graduated from Villanova University with a Master of Arts in Theatre and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management. I earned my BA at Temple University in Communications and Theatre. Additionally, I spent two years studying Musical Theatre at The Catholic University of America.
As a teaching artist, I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge and passion for the performing arts with my theatre students at West Chester Studio for the Performing Arts. Theatre students experience the joy of storytelling while gaining communication skills, learning the art of collaboration and unleashing their own unique creativity.
Currently, I work in the membership department at ArtPride New Jersey where we advocate for the arts, providing marketing opportunities and connect the arts with sectors including health and education. ArtPride's programs include Discover Jersey Arts, providing arts patrons with arts news, discounts and special offers!
In October of 2010, I launched Wasabi Talent as a full-service music and entertainment company. I provide soloists, duets and small ensembles for weddings and special events. Performance acts include an A cappella trio, The Cherry Blossoms. I sang my first wedding at age 12 (for a family friend) and, ever since, it has been an absolute joy to provide music for special occasions and take part in creating lifelong memories.
